Whether you’re looking to have dinner on a lake aboard a spacious cruise or want to experience a homey theater performance, Lake Sunapee Region has got you covered. Sunapee Cruises offers two fun ways to have fun on Lake Sunapee. There are narrated cruises and dinner cruises. The narrated cruises help you brush up on your knowledge of Lake Sunapee’s history, lore, and landmarks. Narrated cruises are best for those who would like a guided tour as they sail peacefully along the lake. The dinner cruises are best for those who enjoy having a bite to eat while taking in picturesque views of Lake Sunapee. Dinner cruises offer a fun, unique, two-hour buffet experience, with a little bit of narration regarding Lake Sunapee lore.
 
Another option for entertainment is the New London Barn Playhouse. The New London Barn Playhouse has been open for nearly a century and is on the State of New Hampshire’s Register of Historic Places. They provide an array of theater classes to help the youth in the Lake Sunapee Region follow their dreams and passions in the theater. The stage is home to big productions, like Mamma Mia and Footloose. The children’s stage comedy shows and big productions, like Matilda.

The Lake Sunapee Region is a fantastic destination for outdoor recreation all year round. In the summers, you’ll find locals basking lakeside, kayaking the waters, and hiking the sprawling trails. Come winter, Mount Sunapee is a skiers heaven — southern New Hampshire’s biggest mountain is a etched with sixty-six miles of trails and over two hundred acres of skiable terrain.
 
The Annual Craftsmen’s Fair in the Lake Sunapee Region is celebrating its 89th year at Mount Sunapee. The fair is a fun opportunity to view arts and crafts, shop, partake in fun events, and experience educational opportunities for children.
 
The Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum is a respectful center preserving and educating about native American life today, and in the past. They host several events throughout the year, such as hand drumming classes, stargazing, and poetry readings. A favorite event is the annual Powwow in July.

The Quack Shack is a seasonal ice cream stand selling fun flavors as long as the weather is warm enough. They have been a family-owned business in Lake Sunapee Region for 20 years.
